In order to provide greater opportunities and flexibility for students, HLKN offers online degree programs, in addition to many individual web-based classes.
Various web-based courses are offered for both undergraduate and graduate students every semester through online course management systems. The department uses Moodle, eCampus and eLearning.
HLKN houses the Office of Digital Learning Technologies (DLT), which conducts design, implements, supports, maintains, and evaluates distance education and technology-mediated instructional applications related to conveying health education, kinesiology, and sports management materials.

The Sport Management minor is for students who want an introduction to working with sport organizations. All of the courses for the minor in Sport Management are available online. Two of the minor courses will also meet international and cultural diversity requirements for core curriculum. You must be a current student at Texas A&M University to declare this minor.
